To begin the online application process for a new K-Electric electricity connection, visit the EN(Electricity New Connection) system or the K-Electric online application portal. The applicationform for a new connection consists of five main steps, each containing specific sub-stepsIt is essential to fill out all required fields carefully, ensuring that the information you provideis accurate. K-Electric New Connection Process
Step 1: Access the ENC online application portal on your desktop or laptop.
Step 2: Find the “Apply” button on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your neighbor’s reference number in the specified field. This will automatically populate otherfields, including your neighbor's name, address, distribution company name, and relevantsub-division details.
Step 4:
Choose the appropriate load details. If you are applying for a domestic connection, select 5 KW.For industrial or commercial connections, select a load above 5 KW.
Step 5: For residential applications, select the Domestic type. Options for commercial, agricultural,and industrial connections are also available.
Step 6: If you are renting, select “Tenant”; if you own the property, choose “Landlord.”
Step 7: In the next tab, enter your full name with correct spelling, followed by your father’s orhusband’s name.
Step 8: In the citizenship section, if you are Pakistani, select the first option and proceed to input yourCNIC number and address.
Step 9: In the mobile number fields, enter your personal mobile number in the first field, and a secondmobile number, such as your father’s or husband’s, in the second.
Step 10: This section requires the contact details of the person applying for the new connection.If it is you, select "Same as Above," which will auto-fill the fields.
Step 11: You will need to provide premises details. If you have an existing electricity meter, mention it if not, select “0.”
Step 12: Specify your load requirements for the new electricity connection and provide the address whereyou want the new meter installed.
Step 13: Indicate the number of appliances in your home. For example, if you have one AC, mention itand select the quantity in the next field. After specifying the quantity, input the load consumed byeach appliance. You can add additional appliances by selecting “Add Row.”
Step 14: Once the form is complete, upload all the required scanned documents by clicking the browse button.
Step 15: Review the entire form and the terms and conditions for the K-Electric new connection request.Click the "I Agree" button to proceed. Finally, complete the CAPTCHA verification, enter thenumbers in the field, and click the “Submit” button.
How to Check K-Electric New Meter Connection Status
After applying for a new K-Electric connection, you will receive a tracking number.
This number allows you to check the status of your K-Electric new connection application.
Step 1: Go to the ENC (Electricity New Connection) portal.
Step 2: Click the “Track” button located on the left side of the webpage. A form will appear with two options.
Step 3: Select the first option to track your new connection application or choose the second option fortracking changes in name, tariff, or load.
Step 4: After selecting the “new connection” application type, enter the name of the distribution companyand your tracking ID. Since you are applying for a new connection from K-Electric select K-Electric from the dropdown menu.
Step 5: Finally, enter the tracking number you received during your online application submission.
K-Electric Demand Notice
Once you submit your new connection application, the K-Electric ENC team will thoroughlreview the process. They will assess essential factors such as service line length, conductors,and other necessary equipment for installing the new meter connection. A demand noticewill be issued after completing this assessmentYour application tracking page will display the status as either “Review Completed” or “PayDemand Notice Fee.” You can then download your demand notice voucher through the ENC portal.
How to Apply for K-Electric Demand Notice Online
Step 1: Go to the ENC Portal.
Step 2: Click the “Print” button located on the left side of the page.
Step 3: A form will appear on the right side, prompting you to select the application type. Choose the newconnection option.
Step 4: After selecting the application type, enter your new connection application tracking number in thedesignated field and click “Submit.”
Step 5: A demand notice form will then open, giving you the options to “Download” or “Print.” Reviewthe form and select your preferred option.
Note: To expedite your application, pay the demand notice fee at your nearest bank.
How to Submit Demand Notice Online
Once you have paid the K-Electric new connection fee, you can apply for a demand notice online.To complete this process, you will need a scanned copy of the paid demand notice fee.
Visit the ENC portal.
Select the “Upload” option as indicated on the page.
Choose the application type as "New Connection."
Enter your tracking number and click the submit button.
A window will prompt you to upload the scanned copy of the demand notice. Upload the file and thenclick the save button to submit your demand notice to K-Electric management.
Note: After timely payment and uploading your demand notice on the ENC portal, your new connection will be installed within 15 days as per the official procedure.
